The story so far

Roderigo H135 was lost in the same winter storm as Lorella on 26 January 1955. Hull’s fishing community remembers the 40 men lost between the two vessels. A vessel name may be the starting point for a family story: a photograph, a remembered voyage, a job or a homecoming.

A complete named crew list has not yet been verified for this page. We will add sourced names as the research develops.

A photograph of a crew list, a discharge book or a dated newspaper clipping could help.

Vessel sources & research

Researched October 2026. This is a growing vessel record. Crew-list coverage and dates are explained above; a name’s absence is not evidence that someone never served. Corrections and documents are welcome at info@hessleroad.com.

New vessels will be added each week. Request a vessel →
